Multiple locations are available.  Please review the following information below: CNAs $26.00 - $30.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY: Provides direct and indirect resident care activities under the direction of an RN or LVN. Assists residents with activities or daily living, provides for personal care, comfort, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group or residents. REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in State of CALIFORNIA
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS (Friday/Saturday/or Sunday) AND SOME HOLIDAYS
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists in the preparation for admission of residents.
  • Assists in and accompanies residents in the admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
  • Assists LVN in treatment procedures
  • Provides general nursing care, such as positioning residents, lifting and turning residents, applying/utilizing special equipment, assisting in use of bedpan or commode and ambulating the residents.
  • Performs all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
  • Ensures residents are dressed properly and assists, as necessary. Ensures that used clothing is properly stored in bedside stand or on hangers in closet. Ensures that all residents are clean and dry at all times.
  • Checks unit for adequate linen. Folds neatly and arranges linen in linen closet. Cleans linen cart. Provides clean linen and clothing. Makes beds.

South Pasadena Care Center is currently seeking full time LVN Charge Nurses to join our team. Experience in a LTC setting/ Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus. New grads are welcome too!! Shift Available:
  • 3 pm - 11:30 pm Wed, Thurs, Sat, Sun
  • 11 pm - 7:30 am Sat and Sun
LVN Charge Nurse RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To assure resident safety.
  • Passing medications to residents.
  • Provides the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients in the unit
  • Makes nursing assignments appropriate to the skill level of employees
  • Maintains acceptable standards of patient care
  • Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
  • Supports and enforces infection-control policies and procedures

Dynamic, 149-Bed Skilled Nursing Facility seeks Full-Time and Part-Time LVN candidates for our 11-7 shift2 years of SNF experience preferred; but, will train the right candidate(s). We welcome and support H1-B Work Visa Applicants. Basic duties include Med Pass, Accu-Checks, documentation in the Medication Administration and Health Records, Monitoring Residents' clinical and behavioral well-being, evaluate and reporting any abnormal findings to the MD for instructions/changes in orders. Also responsible for daily/weekly charting, coordination with pharmacy and completion of incident reports. Finalizes daily (shift) C.N.A. assignments monitors ADL charting, and provides leadership and support to staff. May also supervise the dining room during meal service and other duties as assigned.
